Since 1989, ASA AUTOMATION has been realising customer and product-specific automation solutions at its Mainhausen site near Frankfurt/Main. Our expertise ranges from the implementation of complex turn-key projects, interlinking of machinery, systems, and isolated single-function modules, retrofitting existing systems to extensive after-sales service.

Spiralförderer (Spiral conveyors)
SPIRAL CONVEYOR
With the spiral conveyor by ASA Automation, large height differences within the material flow can be bridged in a space-saving way, while maintaining a consistently high material throughput. These can be individual products, packages, cartons and even containers. The spiral design is just as reliable and easy to integrate into existing conveyor systems as a conventional straight conveyor.
The chain is equipped with lateral ball bearings to minimize friction losses. Compared to conventional elevators, it is less error-prone, less expensive and requires less maintenance. In addition to that the vertical conveyor can be used as a space-saving buffer zone, as well as a heating or cooling unit.
INCREASING OF PRODUCTION CAPACITY
Gaining valuable floor space in the production area, which directly leads to an increase in production capacity, is another significant advantage. This improves the accessibility for employees by raising the transport section above the spiral conveyor.

Robotik-Lösungen (robotics solutions)
This robot handling system by ASA Automation is a fully automated palletising system with integrated pallet wrapping.
In this process cartons are being palletized in several layers in a transport-safe packing scheme by using a specially developed gripper technology.The product is fed in by the Carryline conveyor system. The task to pick and place ist performed by a palletizing robot (M-410iC) from Fanuc. Finally, all fully packed pallets are transported by the pallet conveyor system to the pallet wrapper, where they are wrapped in film.These Solutions made it possible to realize a cost-optimized pallet and product transport.
